The Amazon rainforest is home to more than a third of all the world's species of plants, birds and animals. Twenty per cent of all the birds in the world live in the rainforest. Scientists have

At present, fossil fuels (oil, coal, and natural gas) are limited and being run out. Therefore, people must develop and use alternative sources of energy. However, these sources of energy have both advantages and disadvantages.
On the one hand( một mặt), they bring us a lot of benefits . For example,
wind energy, solar energy, water energy and geothermal heat are not only
plentiful,
unlimited but also
clean and
safe. Nuclear energy can provide enough electricity for the world’s needs for hundreds of years. It is also unlimited
On the other hand (mặt khác), they have some drawbacks (hạn chế). If the wind does not blow, there is no wind energy. There is no solar energy on rainy days. It is expensive to build a dam for hydroelectricity. Geothermal heat is available only in a few places in the world. A nuclear reactor releases radiation which is dangerous to the environment.
Although there are some disadvantages, the potential of alternative sources of energy is great. However, how to make full use of these sources of energy is a question for researchers all over the world.
