Martin Luther King was born on 15^th January 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1951, he went to Boston University, where he studied for 4 years. In 1952, he met Coretta Scott, and as soon as he saw her, he fell in love. They got married in 1953, and they had 4 children. In 1954, the Kings left Boston, and Martin became a minister at Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Then he started working for the black freedom movement. Thousands of people walked to Washington to hear his famous speech at the Lincoln Memorial in 1963, and he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. He died on 4th April 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee, from a gunshot wound.

Dear Sally.

I am glad to be your pen-friend. I’m one year younger than you and I am 1.60 meters tall. I have got dark short hair and brown eyes. I live in Hue with my parents and my older brother. He is a university student.
 
I am studying at Quoc Hoc. which is one of the oldest and most beautiful high school. in Hue. I go to school every day except for Sunday. My classes begin at 7 a.m and finish at 11.20 a.m. I like most subjects, but not all of them - English is my favourite subject at school. In the evenings. I sometimes listen to music or watch T V, and at weekends I often go swimming or play football with my friends. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon!
